Keep your mind clean from lies
About mass media and the distorsion of reality

Popular news are biased. All that is popular catches the attention of the masses, and is the perfect arena for finding the projection of the colective unconsciousness. Ninety-five per cent of TV  radio, newspapers or magazines are biased by prejudices, political and economical interests. Rare is the mass media that tells what’s really going on the world. It is rare because of three main reasons:

- First, it is not easy to discern the reality as it is. It is very easy to project our own prejudices, fears and desires upon any situation. We see what we expect to see, and we don’t see what we don’t want to see.
- Second, it needs guts to say what you see when it is not perceived by the majority of people, including the government, or other institutions. It needs courage to say something that disagrees with the popular belief. Most people don’t want to know the truth, they seek a consoling and securing belief. Percieving the truth of any situation implies the responsibility to act accordingly to that truth, and that  implies changing one life’s habits or ideas, which is the last thing the ego can accept.
- Third, about 1999 out of 2000 media is owned by big companies, big trusts. Most of them are only seeking money, not truth, because the latter might not be economically rentable for them.

In times of conflict, you cannot rely a bit on what the media tells you. Media might be even more manipulated for controling the masses, for having the acceptance of the citizens.  This war is certainly new, since “media” plays an important role. We urge you to use your sense of discerniment on what is truth and what is biased truth. Use your intuition and test the “truth” of everything you hear or see.

We don’t really recommend to watch TV or read the newspaper. Dedicate more time to develop your consciousness . However, if you want to know “what’s going on the outer sceenery of the world” have a look at the following websites:

Remember that not everything appears in the media. Remember that lots of people are being positively transformed at this very moment, and “that is not usually news”. Remember to develop and use your intuition and inner discerniment. Remember to be detached even to your opinions, beliefs or expectancies. Accept every situation as it is and you will be able to understand it completely.
